GAS MAD PT1-254 is a pair of fun 1" horn tweeters that deliver a crazy big sound! The tweeters are equipped with a solid 1" voice coil, a thick magnet and an easy-to-drive construction, while the newly developed wave-shaped dispersion lens takes the sound to unimaginable heights! These tweeters are best complemented with GAS' awesome PM1 and PM2 midbasses.

The replacement for the PST14

With the PT1-254, GAS has developed a completely new design with a wave-shaped dispersion lens for better sound and directionality properties. It clearly sounds better than its predecessor, the PST14, while the sound is spread better. Perfect for sound construction that wants to reach a large number of ears! GAS has also equipped the tweeter with a really smart cable connection - completely without a terminal - for easy connection. This means that you do not need a protruding terminal when installing or drilling. Convenient!

BRL recommends

To get these tweeters to perform optimally, we recommend using a crossover filter. You can also set your high-pass filter on your power amplifier or car stereo with a crossover frequency of around 5,000 Hz. This is to prevent the tweeters from playing lower frequencies than they are intended for. The included 3.3uF capacitor should be connected between the plus speaker cable and the tweeter's plus terminal.
