GAS MAD S3-12D2 is the bass element that takes the bass in your car to the next level! The bass builds on the success of the GAS MAD S2, but adds even better performance, cool design and more durable materials. It is noticeable that GAS has taken a look at the best in the MAX series, with a strong decorative ring and a double decorative seam that is of course orange. A bass that does not compromise on anything - both in terms of price and strength!

On the MAD S3 you will find a cone made of unpressed cardboard, a material that the elements inherited from the awesome MAX series. The paper cone provides a natural and dynamic reproduction of the sound, while being light and stiff. It also has an aluminum dust cover with the GAS logo in 3D, which gives a stylish look and protects the cone from dust and dirt.

Digging Deep

The MAD S3 is equipped with a rubber suspension with double decorative stitching in orange color that ensures flexible and durable movement of the cone. The suspension is also connected to a mesh spider made of Nomex with an orange pattern, which provides optimal centering force and stability for the voice coil. Together, they provide a deep and controlled bass that can handle high powers and long throws.

Insane bass

GAS has not skimped when it comes to both the motor and the voice coil. It has dual 2” TIL® voice coils at 2 Ohm with 4-layer copper wire that ensures high efficiency and low impedance. The motor consists of a durable steel basket (M-basket) and a strong ferrite motor (2x52oz HQ). The motor and voice coil are also equipped with the awesome DVS (“Dual Ventilation System”), which is a cooling system that guarantees good heat dissipation and also reduces distortion.

Yes, looks matter. The MAD S3 has a decorative ring made of heavy-duty plastic that both stabilizes the basket and also minimizes the risk of damaging the suspension when screwing the base. The decorative ring also has a unique “M” look that matches the steel basket. Stylish! Around the basket of the base you will also find GAS logos.
