Description
The viscosity at -40° C is a maximum of 700 mm²/s, which is only about half as high as the corresponding values of many other common DOT 4 fluids and thus meets the requirements of ISO specification 4925 for brake fluids with lower low-temperature viscosity (class 6).
The brake fluid consists of polyethylene glycol ethers, polyethylene glycols, their boric acid esters, amines, additives and stabilizers.
ATE DOT 4 brake fluid SL.6 meets and exceeds, among other things, the requirements of the brake fluid standards FMVSS No. 116 – DOT 4, SAE J1704 and ISO 4925, Class 6.
ATE brake fluid SL.6 can be mixed with other brake fluids that meet the specifications ISO 4925 Class 6, DOT 5.1 or DOT 4. However, optimal ESP functionality even at very low temperatures is best guaranteed with fluids according to the specification ISO 4925, Class 6.
