VHT 288°C Engine Enamels™ is available in a range of colours, but regardless of the colour, the paint has exceptional durability and resistance to chemicals and rust. VHT Engine Enamels™ has a unique combination of urethane and ceramic binder that provides a resistant surface with a long service life. Is suitable for all surfaces that require tough, heat-resistant and chemical-resistant protection. The paint can withstand short-term temperatures of 288°C.
The paint can be handled after 3 hours. In order for VHT Engine Enamels™ to achieve its full properties, it must be heat-cured as follows.
Painted engine parts are quickly cured by normal engine operation.
Heat curing in an oven
-Heat to approx. 93°C for 20 minutes.
Engine enamel should be painted wet on wet and this also applies to primer on paint. Each layer is applied at intervals of approximately 10 minutes and all layers should be applied within 1 hour. If more time has passed, it is recommended to wait 7 days before painting.
The product is intended for professional use.
