Auto Marine is the consumer packaging version of JB Weld
The adhesive has absolutely fantastic properties that other epoxy adhesives do not have:
Resists salt water and all acids - even hydraulic oil. Can lift a full 278 kg /cm2 after 24 hours of curing, temperature resistant up to 315⁰C. The adhesive is solvent-free so there is no risk of fire or explosion and can be stored in stores without a fire cabinet.
The epoxy adhesive has a rich consistency and is easy to apply, has good filling and is easy to process for 20-25 minutes before it starts to harden.
The shelf life is almost unlimited (25 years) regardless of whether the tubes have been opened or not.
JB Weld is waterproof and resistant to UV rays, seawater and petroleum, is resistant to acids and other chemical products, and is also electrically insulating. Resists vibrations, shocks and extreme temperature changes.
Cured epoxy adhesive can be processed with an angle grinder, can be threaded and drilled in. Can be painted over. Gray color.
The epoxy adhesive adheres to all metals, aluminum, hard PVC, glass, plexiglass, fiberglass, ceramics, wood, concrete etc.
JB Weld is super strong, non-toxic and safe to use - can be washed off with soap and water within 15 minutes.
On which materials can it be used? Bonds almost any combination of iron, steel, copper, aluminum, brass, bronze, pewter, porcelain, ceramic, marble, glass, plastic, concrete, wood, textiles and paper.
Commonly used for engine tops, shafts, propeller blades, bolted joints, radiators and exhaust systems.
