Every small detail of the PE10.D2 is carefully crafted to give the sound a wonderful push in the right direction. The treated NPP (Non-Pressed Paper) cone, which is the very heart of this bass element, is not only robust but also designed to deliver every nuance with high precision and clarity. The ferrite motor drives at the same time, resulting in a powerful bass with good musicality and great responsiveness. The back plate of The woofer gives the voice coil good opportunities to move further in the magnet gap, which results in a longer throw. For those with sharp eyes, the design, especially the cone, is reminiscent of the early (and somewhat legendary) DLS product design. A true joy to both look at and listen to.

Perfect in the slightly smaller box

The element is especially tailored for small closed boxes. A closed box will give the element clean and authentic bass. A compact box can easily disappear behind side panels, under the cargo floor, in the spare wheel well, under the glove compartment as a front sub or why not in a truck cab? These are just a few examples of placement options with a compact box. DLS recommends a closed box that is around 12-20 liters in size.
