With the RCS10.D2, DLS has chosen to take an interesting direction! Focus has been placed on processing the structure of the element, which has resulted in a bass with a slim design. The magnet system has been optimized and integrated into the basket. A raised centering suspension (Spider) helps ensure that the voice coil always ends up optimally in the magnet gap - regardless of where in the movement the cone is. This provides incredible control, while maximizing performance.

Many connection options

The RCS10.D2 has dual 2 Ohm voice coils, which makes it possible to connect in several different ways. One element can be connected in 1 or 4 Ohm, two can be connected in 2 or 8 Ohm. It is entirely up to you and what your sound design looks like; if you want more control or simply want to pour on. For an RCS10.D2 a closed box of 12-15 liters, depending on how deep you want the bass to play.

Small box, big bass

DLS can highly recommend a 15 liter closed box that is airily well-filled with damping wool. This gives a fantastically musical and flexible bass that is guaranteed to give the most die-hard Hi-Fi lover their fill! If size is not something you need to think about, a bass reflex box of around 35 liters with a 4” port (with a length of 420 mm) is recommended. This gives you a tuning of 42 Hz and F3 of 34 Hz.

Can be mounted in many different places

A compact box can easily disappear behind side panels, under the cargo floor, in the spare wheel well, under the glove compartment as a front sub or why not in a truck cab? These are just a few examples of placement options for this bass.
