With the Reference RCS woofer, DLS has chosen to take an interesting direction! Focus has been placed on processing the structure of the element, which has resulted in a woofer with a slim design. The magnet system has been optimized and integrated into the basket. A raised centering suspension (Spider) helps ensure that the voice coil always ends up optimally in the magnet gap - regardless of where the cone is in the movement. This provides incredible control, while at the same time the performance maximized.

Many connection options

The RCS12.D2 has dual 2 Ohm voice coils, which makes it possible to connect in several different ways. One element can be connected in 1 or 4 Ohm, two can be connected in 2 or 8 Ohm. It's entirely up to you and what your sound design looks like; whether you want more control or simply want to pour more. For an RCS8.D2, a closed box of 20-33 liters or a ported box of 42 liters is recommended if you want to dig really deep.
