A woofer is designed to deliver a musical, responsive and deep bass. A bass that is guaranteed to satisfy even the most discerning enthusiast. DLS are very skilled at designing high-quality sound and the RCW12.D2 delivers jaw-dropping bass that will impress anyone who gets the chance to experience it.

A well-chosen ported box will bring out the very best from the driver. The manual that comes in the box contains three different suggestions for box types: ported (SPL), ported or ported (for extra deep bass).

Quality bass

Good bass places high demands on the choice of materials and incredible knowledge when it comes to the manufacturing itself. It shows, as the bass driver is manufactured with the greatest possible precision. With a stylish black anodized aluminum cone and double-stacked premium ferrite magnet motors in perfect harmony, it leads to a bass that has the ability to hit surprisingly hard.

The short-circuit ring, also made of aluminum, reduces inductance and distortion. This results in a detailed bass, even when you crawl down into the frequencies, which with great finesse captures every nuance in your favorite music.

A classic design

DLS has given the element two 2 Ohm voice coils on a non-magnetic TIL shaper, which ensures fantastic musicality and the ability to adjust the impedance to taste and liking.
