P242 Thread locking MEDIUM 50ml

P242 is a medium-locking threadlocker. Provides fast locking and sealing of e.g. bolted joints.

P242 is vibration-proof, demountable and covers about 80% of the locking needs. Application of parts is easy as the adhesive acts as a lubricant during assembly. The thixotropic adhesion neither runs nor drips during assembly

P242 is user-friendly "white safety sheet" Not classified (CLP).

APPLICATIONS:

P242 Threadlocker replaces lock washers and lock nuts.

Locks and seals screws, bolts and nuts up to M36.

Typical bolted joints for: Machine tools - Gearboxes - Bearing housings - Hydraulic bolted joints - Conveyors - Construction equipment etc.

PROPERTIES:

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Clean and dry the surfaces to be glued, preferably use P7063 Cleaner when cleaning

2. Apply the adhesive to the threads and assemble the parts,

3. Fixing time approx. 15 minutes for manageable strength.

4. When using activator, apply it first and dry

NEED P7649 Activator / Accelerator

- If the material is inactive / passive such as plastic and stainless steel

- If faster curing speed is required

- Recommended for installation below +15°C
