Summit Racing® split lock bolt kits put a whole new twist on the theory of mechanical locking fasteners. These innovative bolts unique design uses a locking set pin built-in to the bolt itself, and when tightened the set pin expands the bolt threads against the thread wall. That in turn, provides a locking system without having to use any additional wires, locking compounds, or lock washers. To remove the split lock bolts, simply loosen the set pin and backing out the fastener. These bolts are made of only the finest alloy and are available for many popular applications.
