Description
V.A.G Ignition coil with built-in amplifier. Similar in shape to 2.0TFSI and Audi R8 coils
Sufficient for about 300Hp per cylinder. Fits well for engines that have a little further down to the spark plugs. Fits in the narrow long holes on Golf 2/3 16v engines if you remove the rubber boot at the top and grind off a little of the plastic inside.
Cranking dwell: 4-6ms
Running dwell: 2-3ms
Length between the lowest point and the stop on the rubber boot is about 143mm. Total height of the entire coil is about 177mm.
Absolute maximum length of hole with modification of ignition coil is about 154mm.
