Catchtank2L (1.93L) / Crankcase ventilation
- Aluminum
- Top connection AN10
- bottom plug in the bottom with magnet M12x1.5mm.
- Two connections 3/4-16 UNF (AN8)
- Tank dimensions excluding filter: WxDxH 110x110x160 mm
When hard trimming and turbo installations combined with high engine speeds, the pressure in the crankcase becomes high and the oil tends to seek its way out into the crankcase ventilation. Not so fun to suck a lot of oil into the intake... or to the air filter. In addition, the fumes from the inside of the engine directly lower octane, which is why you don't want to draw it into the combustion. A well-ventilated engine that doesn't have high pressure inside the crankcase, leaks less or no oil.
